Mission Statement
You can seek history through conventional means or you can seek it on your own terms.
Relic Hunting, through metal detecting, empowers the individual to seek answers based on observations and findings.
Such discoveries lead to more in-depth research of historical facts and literature, thus allowing for a more personal experience of the distant past.
-
The night sky is often depicted as a window into the past of the Universe. The scintillating stars are mere representation of their former selves.
Observing the night sky is, after all, a very rudimentary form of time-travel. We admire this “past” in all its glory, knowing full well that it is unattainable.
-
Another type of “past” lies beneath our very feet. It features countless layers of sediment that accumulated over the centuries, sealing the past forever.
That is, until someone decides to unearth it. The past can be relived through history books, but nothing comes close to finding a long forgotten relic and understanding its historical implications.
Such a discovery becomes a vital catalyst in our quest to understand the past within its context.
